How many times have you asked yourself, “Can PPC bring in more traffic than SEO”? My and answer is, use both. While a Pay-Per-Click campaign does require you to fork up money upfront, results are instant. SEO, on the other hand, can also bring you traffic, but that traffic will take some time before you see any results. How will you know that your focusing on the right keywords? SEO will let you know in a couple of months, alternatively, with PPC, you results are immediate and you can make the necessary adjustments.
With my experiene, I come across this problem often. In my SEO consultant company, clients often THINK they know what keyword they want me to optimize their site for, but there is no proof. Prior to starting any SEO for anybody, know which keywords you should focus on.SEO can be a laborious task, so make sure you are writing content for keywords that will actually convert.
My starting point, regardless of the website, is to begin with PPC and then focus on SEO. I will never do one without the other, irrispective of what we think about the keywords.
When setting up your PPC, seperate each campaign block by keyword so you can later identify which keyword works the best. Make sure that you set the search field to “Exact Match”. What you are trying to achieve here is to be able to identify which keywords worked and which didn’t. The combinations of words, if not known earlier, will ruin your entire Search Engine Optimization efforts. This is a must do for any SEO campaign.
This method has been done over many years with my Burlington SEO Company and I couldn’t be happier with the feedback I am getting. I urge you to try this tactic and see what a huge difference it will make for you
